Key Projects & Achievements:
Managing a brand refresh to better communicate our brand values, including a detailed tone of voice guide for the team to use.
Increasing email flow conversion by 22% through new copy and designs produced by myself.
Ownership of all social media channels, which included increasing TikTok followers by 50% in 6 months.
Managing the launch of the new skincare range and helping to secure placement of the brand in 350 Superdrug stores across the UK.
Coordinated a crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube, which gained over £500k to support the launch of the skincare line.

Senior Marketing & Communications Officer
Mental Health UK
As the sole marketing and communications team member, I managed and led all activity for Mental Health UK. I have experience managing relationships with corporate partners, internal stakeholder relationships and external agencies. I was the brand guardian of the charity, ensuring all content, copy and creative is according to guidelines and showing our brand with personality and at its best.
Key projects & achievements:
Managed rebrand of Mental Health UK in May 2019 which included writing all content for our new website. The rebrand also required rebranding of all materials including brochures, presentations, posters and fundraising materials – almost all of which were produced internally by myself using Adobe programmes.
Ownership of all digital communications channels including website content, Mailchimp and social media. Since joining Mental Health UK in February 2019, website sessions grew year on year by over 300%. Social following in 2019 increased by 80% on Facebook, 31% on Twitter, 297% on LinkedIn and 398% on Instagram, all without the use of paid campaigns. Engagement also increased significantly in 2019 (86% on Facebook, 141% on Twitter, 243% on Instagram).
Travelled around the UK filming a bank of resources showing the difference we make across the UK to the people who use our mental health services.
Organised a Mental Health and Money Advice Seminar to encourage funding of one of our services, which resulted in further funding for two years.
Medik8 Junior Brand Manager
I worked as part of a team on Medik8 marketing activity and it’s rebrand. I have experience managing internal stakeholder relationships, international distributors as well as external agencies.
Key Projects & Achievements:
The global rebrand of Medik8, collaborating with an external agency to produce extensive brand and design guidelines and then directing internal teams to apply them to all areas of the brand. Working directly with photographers to create all new assets, leading the shot lists and art direction. I was part of a small copywriting team to produce all content (brochure, packaging and web copy), help build the website using a CMS, train our international distributors on the rebrand, and plan and execute the digital launch. This all took place in just 1 year, which was a truly incredible and valuable experience.
Awarded the ‘Creativity’ prize by Board of Directors in 2017 for my involvement in the Medik8 rebrand.
Ownership of digital channels including: Medik8 blog, website, email campaigns and social media channels. This involved writing and executing all content to educate, grow and engage audiences within a budget.
Developed and launched several products in the market. This involved working closely with a variety of internal teams and external suppliers in order to meet launch deadlines. I also communicated with international distributors to ensure successful global product launches.

Menage Assistant Brand Manager
I managed and led all below the line communications for men’s skincare brand Menage during 2016, with ownership of the commercial marketing strategy and execution of campaigns.
Key Projects & Achievements:
• Promoted to Junior Brand Manager after 10 months. Presented the Menage marketing strategy for the quarter to the board of directors, usually a task for General Managers.
• Awarded the ‘Self Starting’ prize in 2016 by Board of Directors for building, launching and growing the Menage brand as well as assisting on projects for other brands within the business.
• Managed and led a qualitative market research project which I presented to the board, influencing the marketing strategy going forwards.
• Ownership of digital channels including: Menage blogs, websites, email campaigns and social media channels.
• Developed and launched several products in the market.
• Won Bronze prize at the Pure Beauty Awards for ‘Best New Male Skin and Body Care Product 2016’ following digital campaigns which I lead.

Achieved a 1st in my Contemporary Marketing Dissertation entitled ‘An empirical investigation into the consumer purchase decision surrounding national brand and private label bread and baked good products.’
